Thought of the Day.

The impact of educators in a child’s life.

“…with the majority of children in some sort of childcare because either a single parent or both parents are working, adults who do not share their educational experience, conversational ability, cultural background, or academic values are being hired to mold the offsprings’ brains. As a result, concerned observers report, the insidious tendrils of disadvantage are quietly inserting themselves along the socioeconomic spectrum. “

  1. We highly recommend this valuable resource. This book is as timely as it was in the late 80’s. As a matter-of-fact, the research of Dr. Healy is even more valuable today…all the research confirming her findings validate all the information she has shared all these years. This is a must-have for parents and educators. It is echoes what Magda Gerber and Emmi Pikler have said for years.

  2. We highly recommend this valuable resource. It is as valuable today as it was at first printing. As a matter-of-fact, probably even more so today. In addition to all Dr. Healy’s findings there are volumes of confirming research by leading brain research specialist from around the world that confirm these findings. A must-have for all parents and educators.
